The IQ 7000 model offers the choice between folding or automatic folding options. However please note that it does not include a recline feature. If you require both recline and folding capabilities in one wheelchair model we recommend considering the IQ 9000.

Can I turn my wheelchair on or turn off with the remote control?
No. The wheelchair’s power must be turned on before the remote control is turned on. This allows the controller to pair with the chair.
Does my wheelchair arrive fully assembled?
Your wheelchair will arrive almost fully assembled. Once your wheelchair is delivered you'll have to connect the remaining components.
Can I bring my wheelchair on a plane or cruise ship?
Yes. The 12AH (288WH) lithium ion battery meets the travel requirements of airlines and cruise companies. Before your air or sea journey it's advisable to get in touch with the airline or cruise operator to verify their regulations regarding travel batteries.
Is it feasible for my wheelchair to fold up on its own while I'm seated in it?
Yes. However, the automatic folding ability is controlled by a two-step process on the controller. This is to avoid an accidental folding of the chair while it is in use. For safety reasons, it is important that only chair operator uses the controls.
I’ve run out of battery. Can I push my chair?
Yes. The IQ 7000 wheelchair has the capability to function similarly to a wheelchair. To achieve this ensure that the power is switched off and then disengage both motors by pulling the levers, on each motor into the position. This action will effectively transition your wheelchair into free wheel mode.
Does my remote control come paired with my chair?
Yes. The remote control comes paired with your chair. Is there a way to stop the beeping noise my wheelchair makes when I go in reverse?
Absolutely. To turn off the beeping sound you can. Hold the (+) button, on the controller until you reach speed then keep holding it down until you notice the amber light appearing in the center of the display. Quickly press the horn button and the beeping will stop. Repeat these steps if you want the beeping sound back.
Does the armrest raise?
Yes. Both armrests can raise to allow an easier exchange or to make it easier to push you chair closer to a table.
How do I charge the battery?
You can charge the lithium ion battery using either the joystick controller or by connecting it to the battery. It takes around 6 8 hours to charge a battery but less time if the battery is partially charged. Once the battery is fully charged remember to disconnect the charger from both the battery and the power outlet.
Can I place my controller on either side of the wheelchair?
Certainly. The controller is initially positioned on the side of the wheelchair. It can be effortlessly relocated to the left side.
Can I use my wheelchair on dirt and grass?
Yes. The IQ-7000 can traverse low grass and compacted dirt with ease.
